Forestry Support Program (FSP) is designed to provide a formal stepwise approach for forestry companies to meet requirements for certification under Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). GFS provides continual technical support under a 3-stage approach to define gaps in the current system; assist in the development of management planning and operational procedures then support implementation and monitoring of the management system.

The FSP is designed as part of the FSC Modular Approach Program that works in collaboration with SCS Stepwise and Smartwood Smartstep programs to provide 3 rd party verification of progress in addressing GAPs and demonstrating progress to meet FSC standard according to the Action Plan.

Forestry companies that participate in the FSP can develop carbon projects in conjunction with the CCSP for rehabilitation of degraded forest areas or protection of production areas against loss of stored carbon.

Log Tracking Services - as a technical system for tracking logs from the stump using barcode and other technology and computer database system in conjunction with operational management planning.
